Why Blog?

Some of you might wonder why would you want to have a blog? Some might have a blog so they can get their message out to their followers. Others write so that they clear their mind of clutter. Some might blog so that their family and friends can keep up with them. There are different ways of blogging too. Some write often to share information about what they are doing. Others may not write as often and write about more abstract concepts instead of what they are doing in their personal life. What ever the case I want to share why I am starting a blog.

First off I will be writing not so much about what I am doing, but more along the line of what I am thinking about. Most of my waking hours I am thinking about something and my brain hardly ever stops. Usually I am thinking about something I read in the morning during my Bible reading. Other times it is a combination of my Bible reading and something that I read or heard on the news. There are times it is a combination of what I heard during the Sunday sermon, something I read in my Bible reading, and something I read or heard on the news. In order for my mind to be put at rest I like to share what I am thinking with my friends.

I won’t be writing very often. It will probably go in spurts. Getting the information from my mind down to my hands is a difficult process. Usually my mind gets way far ahead of my hands. There have been times that I get two or three paragraphs ahead of where I am currently writing. Maybe the more I write the easier it will be for me to get the information from my mind to my hands.

I would ask that you would join me in this journey as I start to blog. It is kind of a new experience for me. I am hoping that it will help others who may be struggling with the same questions or issues that I address. I will do my best to stay away from controversial issues. That will only last for so long though. Anyway come along for a look into my mind and kind of how it works.
